Why the Altar?

In Scripture, an altar is a sacred, consecrated place where God responds to the offerings and prayers of His people. Under the New Covenant, our hearts have become spiritual altars, where we present ourselves in devotion and worship to the Lord.

If you are hungry for a closer walk with God, the Remnant Altar welcomes you to seek more of His presence. These monthly gatherings are designed to keep the fire of God burning on the altar of our hearts through:

May 1st with Prophet Trese Strauss

Trese Strauss is the Founder of Power Remnant Ministries, an apostolic, Spirit-led ministry dedicated to equipping believers to hear God’s voice and walk confidently in their prophetic calling. Since 1974, Trese has carried a passionate commitment to serving God and awakening the Body of Christ to its purpose.

A seasoned prophet, teacher, author, and ministry trainer, Trese leads Power Boot Camp prophetic intensives and other transformational events designed to connect people deeply to the Holy Spirit and activate their spiritual gifts. Her initiatives include Empowered Vessels (EV), Remnant Altar Nights (RAN), Invaders of Influence (IOI), and personal sessions through The Power Word Experience. She also hosts the annual SYNC~UP Conference, a regional gathering focused on unity and prophetic empowerment.

With decades of ministry experience both locally and abroad, Trese continues to champion revival, restoration, and prophetic training for today’s Remnant. She lives in Bethlehem, PA, with her husband Don. They are blessed with a growing legacy of children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

May 15th with Apostle/Prophet Benjamin Deitrick

Benjamin Deitrick entered full time ministry at the ages of 17. He’s been diligently serving the Body of Christ in diverse capacities including national and international ministry, conferences and speaking engagements, prophetic ministry, teaching kingdom principles, leading worship and prayer ministry teams, leading trips to Israel and other strategic countries the Lord highlights. Benjamin and his wife Tarrah launched Ignite Ministries International in 2023. They were led by the Spirit of God to focus on revival, missions, and strategic training, igniting a passion for Jesus and his kingdom in hearts, cities and Nations. Benjamin has been married since 2010 and has three beautiful girls, Faith, Lily, and Sophia.
